Travel With A Purpose in India: 12-Day Volunteer Trip Day 1: Taj Hotel Ahmedabad- Arrive in Ahmedabad and spend the night. Ahmedabad is famous for its historical monuments and its association with Mahatma Gandhi, the great freedom fighter and the Father of the contemporary Indian Nation. Day 2: Gandhi Ashram & Red Cross visit-Morning sightseeing tour of Ahmedabad, followed by a visit to the Gandhi Ashram located in Sabarmati. This is the Ashram from which Gandhi started his Dandi March. Arrive at The Little Rann of The Kutch where we will spend the next 9 days. We plan to begin our daily programs with optional Yoga followed by a full schedule of programmed events consisting of our humanitarian and cultural programs.
