The Selous Game Reserve, the largest wildlife reserve in Africa, is characterized by its harsh yet beautiful landscape, comprised of grassy flood plains, dense woodlands, patches of forest and rocky outcrops. The lifeblood of the park is the Rufiji River, the largest water source in the region and home to a diverse animal and bird population. While the park is primarily known for its large number of elephants, you will also have the opportunity to see a range of other exciting creatures, including giraffes, hippos, lions, leopards, crocodiles and over 450 bird species. Due to its remote location, the park remains one of the hidden gems of Tanzania.

During your time in the Selous Game Reserve, you will stay in the lap of luxury at the Beho Beho Safari Game Lodge. Nestled on the slopes of Namikwera Hill, this lavish accommodation represents the true essence of a luxury African safari. DETAILED ITINERARY:

DAY 1: Selous Game Reserve
Arrive in Dar es Salaam and board your scheduled charter flight to the Selous Game Reserve. Upon your arrival, an open game vehicle will transfer you to the Beho Beho Safari Game Lodge. Relax and unwind as you admire the beautiful views of the Tanzanian landscape from your room, before heading out on an afternoon game drive. Accommodation Beho Beho (full board)

DAY 2 - 4: Selous Game Reserve
The Selous Game Reserve, which boasts a wilderness twice the size of the Kruger National Park in South Africa, possesses a harsh beauty that seems never-ending. While in this untouched paradise, which stretches to the horizon in every direction, you will stay at Beho Beho, a luxury safari lodge. During your time here, you will embark on a range of exciting activities: Explore landscapes ranging from lush forests to rugged plains and crystal-clear lakes; set off on walks, game drives and boat safaris. Even watch as lion hunt, buffalo graze and impala play.

While at the luxury safari lodge, you can relax on the deck with a good book, or take a refreshing plunge in the pool, before enjoying a delicious meal under the stars. DAY 5: Swahili Coast
After breakfast and a morning game drive, you will be transferred to the airstrip for your flight to Dar es Salaam. Upon arrival you will be met at the airport by your driver for the transfer to Oyster Bay Hotel, a small exclusive resort on the beautiful Tanzanian coast. DAY 6: Dar es Salaam – Home
Depending on the schedule of your return journey, you will be transferred to Dar es Salaam International Airport for your flight home after an unforgettable luxury safari. Please note that late departures will incur an additional charge. End of Services
